Christopher Wells

I have worked in financial services for over half my working life, and I have enjoyed every moment.

Before joining Sterling & Law, I spent ten years as a financial adviser, ten at the Financial Ombudsman Service and a further seven years as a consultant helping financial advisers understand how to communicate better with their clients.

My job is to keep the team running smoothly. Most of my work happens behind the scenes. I look for ways to make things simpler for our clients and advisers. I manage the risks that come with running a regulated business. If our processes work well, clients get a better experience, and advisers can spend their time on giving advice.

Away from work, I read mostly music biographies, gardening and listening to my vinyl collection. When the weather allows, I’m out on my bike exploring the quiet lanes of Norfolk where I am lucky enough to live.
